State/local government
Keep track of legislation before the City Council and/or the State Legislature. 
Investigate implications of current legislative proposals in light of the Green Party's Ten Key Values.
Research solutions to problems not being addressed adequately by current office-holders. 
Research the influence of campaign contributions and other special interests in the votes of elected officials
Attend City Council and/or State Legislature meetings.
Make reports to the Green Party of Middle Tennessee regarding any/all of the above.
Political Campaigns
Run for office
Help identify candidates to run for office
Work as a campaign manager
Work as a campaign volunteer (leafletting, phoning, etc.)
Develop a local issue platform
Work on ballot access (researching rules, gathering signatures)
National/State Green Party
Monitor Green Party discussion list and report back to membership
Represent  Middle Tennessee to the state and/or national Green Party
Activism
Organize events (rallies, protests, sit-ins, forums, etc.)
Attend events (organized by Greens or others)
Write letters, op-eds, press releases, etc.
Administrative
Serve as an officer
Assist Green Party officers
Work on by-law revision
